2023 Season in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe

Hi, my name is Josh Hansen and I am a professional racecar driver from Burlington, Wisconsin USA. I have been racing since the age of 5. I started karting and moved my way up the ranks nationally. When I was 14, I made the transition to cars. I raced a Spec Racer Ford my first year in cars and soon after raced Spec Miata. I competed at the highest level of club racing in both these classes having success in both. This past season in 2022 I competed in the Spec MX5 Challenge series and throughout the season I finished with five top 5 finishes, 2 podiums, and 1 win. I was also nominated as an at-large nominee for the Mazda Scholarship program.

Up until this point in my racing career, I have been able to pay for my racing through hard work. During karting, my parents ran the concession stand at the track, between this, wrenching on my kart and driver coaching we were able to pay for karting. When I made the move to cars I started working for Advanced Autosports; a spec Miata prep shop out of Beloit, working at the shop helped pay for my ride in the Miata. For the Spec Racer, I was the official driver coach for the Elite Autosport Gen 2 Pro Series and because of this, I was able to race the Spec Racer.

This upcoming season I am aspiring to race in the Lamborgini Super Trofeo European series. This series races all over Europe, which has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. My goal is to develop a relationship with an individual or a business that is equally beneficial. I am trying to raise $190,000, but anything helps.
