2023 Stratford Festival Cricket Team

This year will be the 49th annual match between the Stratford Festival and the Shaw Festival. It was started by Butch Blake, an original Stratford acting company member, as a way for the 2 festivals to have a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and fun!

The festivals alternate hosting the match from year to year and we both take great pride in representing our festivals through the love of this weird and wild sport. We are reaching out for your support to continue this tradition.

The 2023 match is being held at the Stratford Festival on Monday, August 28, 2023. The Stratford Festival will be hosting the Shaw Festival for our cricket match with a traditional afternoon tea followed by dinner and awards. We will be covering the costs of these events as well as our annual equipment and uniform upkeep through fundraisers, donations and sponsorships throughout the season.
