2023 Tornado Relief Fund

Every year devastating tornadoes rip through communities across the US leaving behind a recovery path that takes years. Families are left without power while they shelter in place and hope the tornado spares their homes, businesses, lives, and more. As a result, each year we see hundreds of people create fundraisers for tornado relief. The activity on GoFundMe is often a reflection of what is happening in the world, especially during times of crisis. That’s why we have created this fund – to provide direct relief to the people who need it most when these disasters strike.

While we can’t avoid tornadoes, we can help people to recover, so we are raising money to be able to provide immediate and direct relief. In past years, hundreds of grants have been delivered directly to people impacted by various tornadoes to help them rebuild. We are monitoring and responding quickly as these fundraisers are created on GoFundMe for those affected and seeking help. Your generosity to this fund allows us to provide important relief grants to those affected by tornadoes.

Why donate to this fund?

Our first priority is to deliver grants directly to those impacted in the US. We grant only to verified individuals who qualify and are fundraising for themselves or on behalf of those affected. Your donations to this fund allows us to grant to many people seeking help on GoFundMe to help meet their fundraising goals. We may also then provide grants to GoFundMe’s for small businesses and community relief efforts, and also to vetted nonprofit organizations aiding with long-term recovery and relief.
