WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
This non profit group is all about giving back to our communities including Southwick, Granville, and Tolland.
We create and produce events that enhance the quality of life by providing people with a sense of community spirit, celebration and civic pride.
~We act with fiscal responsibility.
~We are committed to excellence.
~We build satisfying relationships with our service providers, supporters and event goers.
In 1948 the Fireman's Carnival and parade was established. After many successful years they decided to end this fundraiser in 2015. It was at that point the Rotary club of Southwick ran the event for a couple of years. In 2017, the Southwick Civic Fund took over the responsibility of the fireworks.
Like with every other year, we need to raise money in order to have the Annual Fireworks in Southwick!
We usually go business to business asking for donations. But given the last few years of local businesses getting hit pretty hard, we decided to turn the requests to the citizens of Southwick.
We need $12,000 to have the fireworks this year on July 15th. at Southwick Motocross
We did the math out, the town of Southwick has a population of about 9000 people, if just 600 people donated $20, or 1200 people donated $10 (you get the idea)... we would have the full $12,000 for the fireworks!
We have three ways to donate....
you can write and mail a check, address to
Southwick Civic Fund
258 Feeding Hills Road,
Southwick, MA 01077
We need to raise the funds by July 10th.
In the chance that we do not reach our donation total needed, all donations would then be allocated to next year's (2024) fireworks show.
