2023 Track World Championships

Hi, my name is Kaden Colling and I race for Ignite Junior Cycling. I have now been racing competitively for 3 years at both the national and international levels.

For the 2023 track season, I am very happy to have been selected for Track World Championships in Cali, Columbia. I will represent Canada in the Team Pursuit and Elimination Race. Leading up to Worlds, I will spend time training and preparing for the championships with the national team at the Mattamy National Cycling Center before heading to Columbia.

Over the course of the summer, I will also be competing on the road in the Tour of Ireland and GP Ruebliland (UCI 2.NCup) with Ignite Junior Cycling, as well as Junioren Rundfahrt (UCI 2.1) and Watersley Junior Challenge (UCI 2.NCup) with Team Canada. I am really looking forward to this block of racing as it will provide me with the important tools and experience I will need advancing to the U23 ranks.

Looking at this season already, I am so grateful to have recieved support from Ignite Junior Cycling, coaches, staff, Team sponsors, and family and friends who have all provided me with the resources to reach my early season goals. For the second half of the 2023 season, I am seeking financial support to help with the travel and race expenses to World Championships, Nations Cups, and other races in preperation for next year.
