2023 VILLA GROUP EMPLOYEES' CHILDREN SCHOLARSHIPS

Access to education is an inherent right of every child.

You may already know how Eagle’s Wings Foundation supports organizations in the communities of the Villa Group in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas, and that each year we host an annual Auction Fundraising Event at the Villa del Palmar Flamingos in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. But did you know that you don’t have to be present to make a huge impact in the lives of the less fortunate in Mexico?

This year, the auction is being held in November, and the beneficiaries will be the children of the dedicated Villa Group employees who work to create wonderful vacations and memories for you each year. Many staff members have been with the group for decades and are truly part of our members’ extended families. While Mexico works to implement a clearly defined state-run education model, there is a need for consistency in standards and fees. Currently, independently-operated high schools are often the only option for continuing an education beyond junior high school. Tuition, uniforms, supplies, transportation, and other fees may be prohibitive, especially for families with multiple children.

Even if you will not be at the auction event in person, you can still make a difference! Your support is key to achieving this goal. Would you consider donating $50 to directly impact the lives of the underprivileged in Mexico? We hope to raise $5,000 online to contribute to our total fundraising goal of $20,000. This will support the yearly tuition costs of approximately 200 children, and other education expenses such as fees, books, uniforms, and school supplies. All donors of this GoFundMe fundraiser will be listed on an Appreciation flyer that will be distributed to the attendees of the auction event.
