2023 World Master and Jiu Jitsu Con Kids

Hello, if you know our family, you've probably heard us talk about jiu jitsu. Maggie has been training for 9 years, Charlotte for 6, and Paul and I for 3. Jiu jitsu is part of our everyday lives.

For the last two years we have tried to put the girls in a tournament every month. This has changed their game dramatically. The competition bug bit me from the start, and I also try to compete as much as possible. The girls and I are at the stage in the game when the number of competitors at each tournament is small. Teen girls have started to disappear from the sport, and masters-age women don't sign up for the local comps at purple belt.

Jiu-Jitsu Con is the largest competition for all ages. Each of us will have several high-level competitors in our brakets, from all over the world! Last year, Maggie won gold against two Pan champions. This year, we all want to go!
