2024 Archery Australia National Youth Championship

Hi All,

I am fundraising in order to send my daughter, Ellen, to the 2024 Archery Australia National Youth Championships at the end of March in Canberra.

In the past few years, due to COVID, the Youth Championships were a "postal" event. This means that each regional archery governing body across Australia held their own state competition, in coordination with the other governing bodies, on the same day. All the results, from all regions, where then sent electronically to Archery Australia, the overarching governing body, to be compiled to determine the national results.

As archery is both an outdoor and indoor sport, shooting outdoors in various locations can introduce environmental factors that may give one location an advantage over other areas. As a result, the Youth National Championships in 2024 will again be held in one location. This time it will be a 6 day event in Canberra.

All up, it will cost around $3000 to attend the event. This includes travel to and from the event, accommodation, event entry fees, etc.

Ellen is a passionate archer who has consistently placed in the top three at the events she has entered. Ellen also ended the 2023 Australian rankings as the 1st under 14 female recurve indoor and 2nd outdoor archer in Australia.

Any assistance, that will help Ellen attend and succeed at the Youth Nationals will be greatly appreciated.
