2024 Boston Marathon to support A Place To Turn

Tax deductible
I'm running my first Boston Marathon for A Place To Turn. A Place To Turn (APTT) is an emergency food pantry located in Natick, MA whose mission is to provide emergency food, diapers, and personal care items to the local Metrowest community. I have been volunteering weekly at APTT for the last few years. Whether helping with distribution, sorting food, lugging boxes, or helping shoppers with choice I have enjoyed the feeling of contributing to the betterment of our community.

More information about A Place To Turn Inc: A Place To Turn is committed to providing emergency food (including fresh produce), diapers, and personal care items to our neighbors in the Metrowest community. In the fiscal year 2023, APTT has seen a 32% increase in the need for assistance. Distributing over 700,000 pounds of food and offering over 60,000 personal care items. We offer this assistance in an atmosphere of caring and mutual respect. Items are offered in a supermarket set up for guests to choose their own preferences.

I've lived in Natick, the home of APTT, for nearly 20 years. Back in 2003, my now husband ran Boston and proposed at the finish line. We came to the Natick Common to watch him run through on that day. I remember thinking what a cute town it was... fast forward 20 years and three kids later and this is our home. APTT is such a positive part of my life and the community, I am honored to represent them and raise much needed funds. Any amount is greatly appreciated and 100% goes to the purchase of nutritious food and supplies to help families in need. THANK YOU!
