2024 CrossFit Games

Hello everyone! I am so proud to announce that I will be competing at the 2024 Adaptive CrossFit Games which are being held in San Antonio, Texas, this September. I expanded my involvement in adaptive sports these past two years by transitioning to the growing world of Adaptive CrossFit. Earlier this year I placed second in the semifinals and I will be fighting for first place on the podium.

I have worked incredibly hard to get to where I am today. At the age of five I was diagnosed with a massive brain tumour that resulted in a 50/50 chance of survival. Completing 64 weeks of Chemotherapy and a full Craniotomy, I overcame this difficult part of life at such a young age. I have since remained in remission.

I spent my childhood fighting for my life while my peers were enjoying theirs. To date, I have overcome 13 brain surgeries and have ongoing regular scans and check ups. Despite the hurdles and challenges I have faced, I continue to persevere even though the Cancer has left me permanently blind. Sometimes to survive, we have to become more.

This competition represents diversity, inclusion, and a wonderful opportunity for me to defend my title from 2023. Competing at an international level is a significant milestone in my athletic career, allowing me to showcase the strength and resilience of adaptive athletes on a global platform.

All donated funds will assist with competition fees, flights, food and accommodations. Your sponsorship will not only assist me in going to the CrossFit games and covering the expenses, but also empower me to represent Canada and my community with strength and courage.
