2024 Lathrop Ballroom Dance Team

Heyo everybody!!! My name is Joseph Barney and I'm a member of the Lathrop High School Ballroom Dance Team. We are the only ballroom dance team in Alaska!!! We perform many different types of dance including but not limited to Cha-Cha, Samba, Salsa, Foxtrot, West Coast Swing, and Jive. We do not receive any funding from the school district due to the team being listed as club. The cost to be on the team this year is $750/person!!! This helps to pay for choreographers, costumes, travel expenses, etc. We have held fundraisers and I have reached out to business for sponsorships to help offset the cost to be on team this year. I have not raised all of my payment through these methods. We have to have our entire payment in by April 12th. Any help to support me and the team is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Also please join us on April 19th and 20th at Hering Auditorium for our final show this year!!!
