2024 Port Phillip Council Election campaign!

Help print PECAN's election brochure!

This election, PECAN aims to elect a climate-friendly Council by printing and distributing our election brochure!

Each $100 we raise will fund the printing of around 1,000 brochures, which our volunteers will distribute to encourage residents to vote for climate action!

The City of Port Phillip has approximately 70,000 residences, so every dollar counts!

As climate change impacts accelerate, some councillors are putting the brakes on action to tackle the climate emergency!

The October Council elections are a critical moment for Port Phillip.

Since 2020, out of touch councillors have held back action on climate change, ignoring present and future climate impacts.

This October, look for candidates who display the PECAN Climate Pledge on their materials.

PECAN is a network of environment groups that connects community and Council to drive action on the climate emergency.
