2024 Touch Footy World Cup

G’day family & friends,

I’m excited to share some awesome news with you! I have been lucky enough to represent team USA at this years Touch World Cup in Nottingham, England.

Over the last 12 months & looking forward into this year. There has been a lot of Touch on my calendar, including 3 trips back to the States for training camps, a tour of NZ + a month over in England preparing & competing at the TWC.

Unfortunately Touch is a pay to play sport and as you could imagine the cost of a campaign like this is not one to take lightly. Each player must raise about $15,000 AUD to participate in the World Cup. This covers training camps across the US, team uniforms, medical support, strength and conditioning programs, analytics, and accommodation for the tournament in Nottingham and the 12 day tour of NZ competing in there National Championship.

This cost does not include flights, for myself 3 return flights to the states, a return flight to NZ & last but not least a return flight to England. All of these airfares combined are approx another $10k AUD.

I have been working a full time job but unfortunately have used all my annual leave. So I have been told by my employer I will have to resign prior to the last training camp in May, back in the states. This has made the financial impact of competing a real struggle. I have paid for majority of my flights already & have saved some money which will go toward the team expenses. Although I am reaching out to ask for your support, any financial contribution you can make would be incredibly helpful.

Touch has been such a big part of my life & to be able to do what I love on an international stage is going to be a dream come true. Whether through financial support, encouraging words, prayers, or simply sharing my story, every bit of support means the world to me!
