The OJR Boys Varsity Ice Hockey team has earned a great opportunity. Our program has become a predominant force in the ICSHL in recent years, winning 4 Pioneer Conference Championships in the past six years and most recently the last three in a row: the 'Threepeat'. Sometimes your hard work and dedication brings a great opportunity. And that's what we have here; we've earned the prestigious honor of being selected by the ICSHL to represent the state of Pennsylvania in the upcoming USA Hockey National High School Tournament in West Chester PA from March 20th through 24th.

As a 501 (C)(3) organization, we run on a tight budget each year with neither board members nor coaching staff drawing a salary. It is truly a volunteer club from top to bottom. USA Hockey Nationals was not on the radar this season & never part of any budget plans. In order to continue the good work by all involved and represent our state, our high school & ice hockey community as a formidable opponent in this tournament, we must continue the on/off ice training for the next few weeks & look to our community for any assistance wherever possible for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

We've been fortunate to partner with local training options like Elite Edge, Method Hockey, and the Ice Line rink for their assistance with on-ice and off-ice training as we pursue this quest for a National Championship.

We provide scholastic league ice hockey for students who reside in the Owen J Roberts school district through our parent run, not-for-profit volunteer organization. We started from scratch in 2011 and have been able to provide as many as 7 or 8 teams in any given year for both boys and girls from grades K through 12, serving over 140 students each year.
