Help Me Turn My Dream Into Reality – Support My Valencia Marathon Journey!
Dear Friends,
I’m reaching out to share an exciting and deeply personal milestone in my life – on the 1st of December 2024, I will be running the Valencia Marathon.
This journey is especially meaningful to me because, after two surgeries in the past two years, I am finally returning to the world of sports after almost a decade away.
For many years, I struggled with a condition known as Morton’s neuroma, which caused debilitating pain in my feet and forced me to give up activities I loved. It wasn’t until recently, after a slow surgical recovery, that I’ve been able to fully embrace life and sports again.
The surgery gave me back my mobility and energy, and just one year later, I find myself training for a full Marathon – something that felt impossible not so long ago.
This Marathon is not just about running; it’s a celebration of resilience, health, and hope. It’s a testament to the fact that with the right support, anyone can overcome obstacles and achieve their dreams.
But I can’t do it alone.
To make this dream a reality, I’m seeking help from family, friends, and supporters to assist in covering some of the expenses associated with the marathon, including travel, gear, and entry fees.
Moreover, I am using this platform to raise awareness about Morton’s neuroma and similar conditions that silently affect people’s lives. By sharing my story, I hope to inspire others going through similar struggles to keep pushing forward and seek the help they need to get back on their feet.
Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to me and help me cross that finish line. Your support will not only aid my marathon journey but also help bring attention to a condition that is often overlooked.
If you’re able to support me in any way, please feel free to reach out or donate through this Fundraising page.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being a part of this incredible journey.
With gratitude and excitement,
Matteo
P.S. Every mile I run, I’ll be thinking of the people who helped me get there!
