2024 WUKF Karate European Championships

Hi, I have set up a go fund me page to help with funding and support for upcoming karate competitions, including the 2024 WUKF karate European Championships taking place in Warsaw, Poland in October.

I started my karate journey at just 5 years old, and nearly 17 years later, I am a part of the Karate England team for both Kata and Kumite. This year I have only participated in one competition, due to my final year of university, in which I managed to come away with a bronze medal in a very close fight. Now I have finished my studies and earned my degree, all my attention is solely focused on my training.

My track record with European championships has been very successful, medalling in both competitions I have been too. In 2019, I came home from Denmark with 4 bronze medals in the cadet age category, and then more recently, in 2022 I achieved 3 silver medals in Italy as a junior, all across individual and team categories. I hope to continue this flow of medals in Poland and other competitions as I progress with my training and face the challenges of becoming a senior.

As well as the European Championships, I will be taking part in the GB Open in Birmingham, EKCC cup and grading for my 3rd Dan black belt, all in September.

I have great determination and a positive mindset, and with attending 5+ hours a week of training as well as a consistent gym schedule, I am hoping to be walking away with medals this year.

I am hoping to raise funds to help with the cost of travel, accommodation and competition fees.
