2024 YAFC Office Programming Fundraiser

Youth Advocates For Change is a Los Angeles based 501c3 nonprofit organization on a mission to amplify youth voices through intersectional social justice issues, creative arts and radical self love through holistic healing. Serving over 600 students across the nation, we believe by taking an intersectional approach to activism, we are able to empower young adults (15-25) to share their stories by assisting them in the co-creation process of launching passion projects to storytell their advocacy. We believe art is a method that reaches all people so we encourage storytelling through film, fashion, photography and journalism. This includes (but is not limited to) serving youth on a variety of intersectional social justice issues who are passionate about race equity, LGBTQIA+ rights, gender rights, climate change and sustainability. By providing a safe space to make change in the world, we help build their self confidence as the journey of change making can be daunting. Our students have successfully launched short films, photoshoot campaigns, podcasts and blog pages to advance the amplification of important social justice issues that affect our communities.

We are raising funds to cover our programming expenses for youth-led events and gatherings to make it through our fiscal year (ending in July 2024). Your donation will help keep our office space open, support our staff and gather workshop resources for our workshops.
