Tamara's fight against Crohn's Disease
At the age of 14 my niece Tamara was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Crohn's is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract, often causing significant abdominal pain and discomfort. At age 28 years old, this disease has been a dark cloud over half of her young life. Without warning this Disease can flare up and most often she ends up in the hospital up to 4-5 days at a time, several times each year. Because of the level of care she needs, MGH in Boston is 40 miles away and has become an unwanted second home. Tamara is a fun, loving, and hardworking dog Mom that needs your help. She is in desperate need of surgery to remove a portion of her small intestine but as you can imagine the medical bills have mounted to over 25,000.00, like many Tamara has recently been laid off from her job at a Dentist office as a result of COVID-19. We know that times are tough for everyone, I'm asking you to please consider giving what you can. With so much life still ahead of her, Tamara deserves to live a more meaningful life Pain-free. Thank you from my entire family be safe.❤
