No Inmate Left Behind

Hello everyone, My name is Author D. Angel, and I'm reaching out to raise funds for a book donation drive. Not long ago, I published a book called “Through The Test Of Time”. And since its publication, I've been dedicating my time and effort to helping men and women in prison, or recently released, take the necessary steps needed to reduce their chances of being a repeat offender. This book, along with my visits to different prisons, creates a powerful testimony of what can be achieved with hard work and a strong commitment to change. Having been a repeat offender myself, I believe many can identify with my story. I also think incarcerated women, who've lost custody of children, can identify with me as well. I, myself, had a child go into foster care when I went to prison. My story can be the motivation needed for many to gain the confidence to fight for a new life and a new way of living. The goal is to “get out…and stay out". Recently, I started donating copies of my book to prisons that were implementing temporary rule changes for receiving mail. Some were only letting books come in from an approved prison catalog. Suddenly, I realized how many individuals I would not be able to reach because of rule changes and financial hardship. I feel that no inmate should have to miss out on the message of my testimony because of issues that are beyond their control. With your help, we can get at least one copy of “Through The Test Of Time" into the libraries of every Federal and State Correctional Institution in the U.S. With almost 2,000 nationwide, this may seem like an incredibly daunting task, but there is strength in numbers. The estimated cost to get each book printed and shipped from the publisher, including fundraiser fees, will be around $9.00. All donations, big or small, will greatly be appreciated.
