#RiseUpCLT - Arts & Entertainment Relief Fund

The Charlotte Arts & Entertainment Community was the first to be impacted by and will be the last to economically recover from from the Covid-19 Pandemic. Many venues are considering if they can simply survive until we can safely gather again. When we are allowed, capacity restrictions will limit staffing, nightly checks, tips, and the ability to afford live entertainment. Physical artists and performer depend on art shows, art & music events, and markets to display and sell their works and are being greatly impacted as well. This community of big hearts and huge talents has likely provided many special evenings, memories, and beloved pieces of art you display in your homes, offices, and creative spaces. THEY NEED YOU NOW. Help them rise up! We are a group of Charlotte based creative businesses and art’s enthusiasts looking to help our community. You are part of it; the people who fill the seats, who view and discuss our art, and who ask us to create - memories of love, first dates, anniversaries, reunions, friendship, laughter and smiles. This will be an ongoing fund to support community members in need for next 12-months of recovery. After, it will become an on-going resource for members of the Charlotte Art Community in need outside of Covid-19 support. We will rise up, together, to laugh, smile, sing, discuss, and love the arts again. We just need a little hand in making it there. Can you help us rise?
