Spry School Families' Emergency Assistance Fund

Humanitarians, Spry Angels need your support! We are a group of teachers from Spry Elementary School in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago. Our mission is to help our students’ immigrant families during this difficult and unprecedented time. It is extremely difficult to watch as these families struggle unaided by government agencies.——————————————————————— We know that our Black and Brown communities are being hit the hardest by COVID-19. Many of our students’ family members have lost their battle with the virus. Many heads of family have lost their jobs and are unable to pay for the most essential and basic needs let alone, medicine that is needed to recover from the illness. ——————————————————————— Our funds are depleting quickly. Many of our Spry staff continue to donate on a bi-weekly basis, but as the school year comes to a close so will our paychecks. We’ve come to the realization that in order to make a greater impact in helping our students’ families, we need YOUR support.
