Spencer Retreat Farm Need Your Help

Dear Children, Families, Supporters & Volunteers, Looking back at the successful & great times we had last year its hard to see the farm so empty, unused and quiet right now. Since Christmas & Meet Father Christmas events in December 2019 due to the 3 major storms the wettest winter in many years, followed by 3 months of going through planning permission, then the pandemic. The charity have been closed & been struggling financially. Even though our trustees & volunteers do thier best. The animals look lost without all the love & attention from the visiting kids & families. The restrictions Solihull Council imposed on the farm stopping our event will reduce our income. But the pandemic made us close our doors completely until further notice. All this hit our charity and I'm sure you feel the same not being able to come to our farm. We are working hard behind the scenes to get things ready for when we can open. We need your help us to survive these hard times. The Pigs cost to feed £15 a week to feed. The Goats cost £20 a week to feed. The Sheep Cost £20 a week to feed The horses cost £30 a week to feed. The bedding for all the animals cost £15 a week To survive these hard times we need £100 a week to keep the farm running and animals fed. If you can donate £5,£10,£15, £20 or any amount to help we will be grateful. Our residents love left over salad and veg.
