South Chicago ABC Zine Distro 20th Anniversary
Donation protected
TWENTY YEARS and still going strong.....
Lately, I've been making trips down to Monee, Illinois to visit and volunteer with Anthony Rayson, and his comrade Mike, at the South Chicago Anarchist Black Cross Zine distro. I've been visiting Anthony's place to learn how to develop a zine distro that can be useful for political education with imprisoned organizers on a national scale.
South Chicago ABC Zine Distro offers a wide variety of political zines at low cost to prisoners. They specialize in helping "get the truth out of the gulags," in zine form. South Chi ABC supports prisoner initiatives such as prison labor unions and prisoner-led study groups. Offers zines for queer, trans and gender non-conforming prisoners, as well.
Foremost, I'm studying Anthony's practice. This distro has been a consistent and reliable organization since 1998, when Anthony began collaborating on writing projects with radical prisoners. 20 years now and still going strong, some of the most brilliant revolutionary thinking I've ever read is circulated, at no charge, to prisoners, from the epicenter of the ABC distro.
20 YEARS THIS YEAR!!!! A real OG organization, please recognize and donate!
