Purses to Persevere KC

Our organization, Purses to Persevere, donates gently used or new purses filled with self-care items to women’s shelters throughout the Greater Kansas City area. The idea behind this is when you look good, you feel good. It is hard to feel good about yourself when you don’t have the essential items necessary to make yourself look presentable. Our goal is to empower women and encourage them to embrace the role that they play in society by helping them feel more confident in themselves. With this being said, we are collecting essential self-care products to put inside the purses as sort of a care package. These items include: -Any travel sized toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc.) -Hairbrushes, hair ties -Makeup (no foundation or concealer) -Feminine hygiene products.
