I’m trying to keep this as short as possible as to not accidentally give too many details so the identity of this person doesn’t get revealed for her own safety. My friend needs help and asked me because I’ve done this before. I’m writing this on behalf of her with a heavy but angry as fuck heart. She’s a victim of rape, and has been getting sexually assaulted in her own home. This situation has been going on for many years at the hands of her uncle. She was scared of how her family would react if she spoke up. Things just got a little more complicated because she recently found out that she’s pregnant. She was able to finally speak up to seek help from her family but she didn’t get the response she deserved to get. Quite the opposite actually, now she’s shunned, pregnant, and heavily surveilled. She’s not allowed to leave her house, they monitor her phone, her uncle still lives with them. He wasn’t even questioned. It’s trifling that the courage she finally gathered is being used to crucify her. I don’t have much I’m able to give so I’m asking you guys for your help in aiding me in relocating her. Shes scared her family might do something. I’m hoping we raise enough for her to move away from her prison and any reminders of it. She’s willing to go anywhere. With a baby on the way please understand that time is of the essence. She never had a choice in any of this and I want to ensure she has the necessary means to pursue any of her options when it comes to the baby as she is still thinking of keep it.
