Together For Camila ,Todos Por Camila

As many of you know my 5 year old niece Camila is legally deaf-blind and was recently diagnosed with a combination of physical and cognitive disabilities, she has been in and out of the hospital her entire life. Although we don’t have a clear diagnosis of her condition what we do know is she has been in epilepticus state. Her latest visit to the hospital was due to having difficulty swallowing, the Drs. opted for a gtube for feeding and while under general anesthesia they did a muscle biopsy which will help determine her condition. Despite her medical conditions she is such a happy little girl that is loved, and that love goes beyond our family. We are in a position where we have been able to help my sister in any way we can whether it’s financially, babysitting or help around the house but there are things that unfortunately are out of our reach. One thing is certain I have never seen a most devoted mother to her child than my sister and it doesn’t go unnoticed Juli, We see you running out the door to Dr visits and therapy’s when your friends are running to little league or dance recitals We see you juggling appointments and work meetings, always making sure you have the best for Camila We see you sitting at your computer for hours researching what Camila needs We see you digging deep for depths of strength you thought you didn’t have We see you cringe when other people whine about the petty things that pale in comparison to your day We see you showing appreciation to the doctors, therapist, teachers and medical professionals who help care for Camila We see you when you’re hanging on the end of the rope for your dear life We see you wake up every morning and do it all over again choosing to do everything you can to give Camila the best possible care at home, in school, therapy and at the doctors. But we also know that you can’t do it alone as a single parent you’re the head of your household and that’s why I ask anyone who can to help rally around you for what the future holds for you and our sweet girl. The funds will be used to help with any medical supplies Camila might need or any hardship that may come across. We commit to donate the money not used to charities that help treat other children with the same medical conditions as Camila. We appreciate everyone who has followed Camila’s journey and the nonstop prayers not only for her but to our family no child should have to endure the struggle she is facing but we are determined to keep pushing every day to help her win this battle.
