BAIL OUT TYVARH NICHOLSON

Donation protected
On Saturday 05/30/20, a peaceful protest in downtown Erie took place to demonstrate a resistance to continued abuse of power and police brutality against people of color following the murder of George Floyd. After about 3 hours, a white male began spray painting the parking lot of the municipal building as well as its signage, and was allegedly the one to break one of its windows, thus sparking what turned into a standoff between cops and protestors that included fireworks, tear gas, rubber bullets, mace, and a cop who is now being protected for macing a sitting protestor before kicking her with his boot to the ground. As the momentum grew, one of our own black community members, Tyvarh, was arrested for standing his ground and protecting other peaceful protestors. We have searched for his family online for 3 days with no luck in finding them, but we would like to collect at least 10% of his $25,000.00 bail so they don’t have to put themselves into any sort of financial strain. Help us bail him out! Not letting our community members sit in police custody is part of telling them that we WILL NOT BE SILENCED.
