About:

 

My name is Haydeé and I will be attempting to swim across the length of Lake Tahoe. 21 miles for 21 special reasons! (Full list of 21 reasons below).

 

This is a non-stop, SOLO, no wetsuit, night swim scheduled for July, 2022 at 9 p.m. Water temperature will be 65-67 degrees Fahrenheit and the swim should take between 12 to 17+ hours.

 

The Ask:

 

Please support this big cause with a monetary donation, all donations are tax exempt in the U.S.  Your donation will benefit these six important causes:

 

- Cancer Awareness

- Rare Diseases

- Human Trafficking

- Sexual Abuse

- Mental Health

- Addiction

 

Benefits:

 

Proceeds will be donated to nationwide charities. $2,000 will be used to cover the cost of day-of-swim fees, which includes hiring a boat and a judge. $1,500 will be used for operational costs related to the non-profit organization created on September 2021.
