21 Year Old Battling Stage 3 Cancer
Donation protected
Hello! We are the Lockhart family and at this time we are in need of raising money to help our dear niece, daughter, sister, cousin and granddaughter; Justa Miracle Lockhart -fight stage 3 cancer.
Justa Miracle is a Class of 2020 graduate of West Harrison High School in Gulfport, MS. She was a basketball and track star winning multiple medals and trophies throughout the many years of her athletic journey.
She was a young woman on her way to a productive life and at this young age she very well should have been. Directly after graduating high school, she enlisted in the U.S. National Guard Reserve where she has now been placed on medical leave.
In May 2023 after weeks of suffering from chronic migraines, severe nausea and whole body pain she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. Rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare type of cancer that forms in soft tissue or sometimes hollow organs. It can occur at any age, but it mostly affects children. Soon after, she started intense chemotherapy at Ochsner Pediatric Cancer Center of New Orleans, Louisiana. After rounds and weeks of treatment, she has not gotten the results that the oncologists hoped for. She has now been referred to a different facility for care and majority of this care is at a out-of-network cancer treatment hospital, that is 7 hours away from her home. However, due to the urgency and severity of the situation proceeding with this out-of -network care is the only option for her well being.
We are asking for help from the community and around the country. As you can imagine, expenses will begin to accumulate immensely during this time. Justa has a long road ahead of her, and fundraising is being done to help ease the financial burden her family will experience so they can focus solely on being there for her physically, mentally and emotionally.
For those who you don’t know Justa Miracle, she is a very caring, compassionate, and selfless person. She has always been the brightest ray of sunshine in our family. She is a young 21 years old and she should be enjoying life at this very moment, but she is fighting for it.
If you see it in your heart to donate, it will greatly appreciated. If you are not able, please still say a prayer for Justa and our family as we will need those as well to get through this process.
“The Power of Prayer is The Real Gift!”
All donations will go towards the medical expenses that directly relate to Justa’s treatment.
Thank you in advance for your generous donations.
God Bless
