Car accident victim sustains brain injury

On the evening of November 21, 2023, 21 year old Daniel Lockhart was driving home from the Hart Highway when his car was t-boned . Daniel sustained critical injuries and was air lifted to Vancouver General Hospital. Daniel spent a number of weeks in the ICU in Vancouver in a coma before being transferred to the ICU in Prince George. Daniel has suffered a diffuse axonal brain injury, broken ribs and collarbone, collapsed lung and damaged kidney and his long term prognosis is not yet known. Daniel works hard on his family farm with his four siblings and likes to work for members in his community of Nukko Lake. We are hoping to raise funds for the family to help cover the cost of transportation, support services or rehabilitative care that Daniel may need in the future.
