Help Me Pay For School

My name is Fajr Kegler and I am an 18 year old college student from Newark, New Jersey. I graduated from Bard High School Early College with 60+ credits, which allowed me to earn my Associate of Arts degree in addition to my high school diploma in the spring of 2020. Unfortunately, early on in my senior year of high school I fell sick with an illness that severely impacted my speech and mobility skills. This in turn resulted in me being out from school for an extended period of time, and by the time that I finally began getting reacclimated into the physical schooling environment, I had to transition back to learning from home because of mass quarantine. As a result of this adverse set of circumstances, my scholarship and college application process had to be delayed, and I missed out on a lot of opportunities and deadlines to receive additional funds for my schooling. With only a handful of applications being sent out, I managed to get into my dream school, Hampton University. And although my family has no income at the moment, financial aid is only going to be helping pay for about 6% of my tuition. The rest I’m paying for completely out of pocket, and while I continue to apply for scholarships and search for work, I am asking that you please donate to help me finish paying off my first semester of school. Any and all funds will go directly to paying my tuition. No donation is too little. If you do decide to donate, I would be beyond grateful to you for believing in my dream.
