A month ago my boyfriend broke up with me and kicked me out of our apartment in Sacramento. So I moved to LA, specifically Glendale. Immediately after moving to southern california my father 5150s me. I am handcuffed by police, traumatized, and unsupported by family members. I was taken to a hospital, then another hospital, and finally my parents sent me away to a residential mental health facility in Orange county. I did the mental health program. I got “better” even though i was always fine to begin with. My family has always been abusive and toxic. But this time, they are out of my life for good. My older sister has been monitoring ALL of my social media accounts and sending ALL of my sexually explicit posts to my father, just to prove to him how “promiscuous” and “unstable” i am. Aimee is not my sister any longer for that. It was betrayal, a big stab in the back and an invasion of privacy. So here comes the homeless part. Sunday June 7th I went to a peaceful protest in Hollywood. It had 10,000 people. My dad specifically told me to NOT attend any protests, despite the fact that he protested injustice when he was 22. So he grounded me. No phone no car no friends. He can be VERY controlling. The night of the protest someone stole my car. This was my dad’s tipping point. I believe he will kill me if he gets the chance, so I moved out of the house I was in for only a few days. In order to claim my own space, first I need financial assistance. I have a job but it doesn’t pay enough. The apartment I will be moving into by the end of June costs $1400 for the studio.
