Tribute to Janet Gonzalez

Friends and family. Our beloved Janet passed away peacefully in the morning of Wednesday June 10th from fighting the COVID-19 virus. She was a kind, caring, compassionate, happy soul that was loved by her children, her brothers and sister, her mother, family members, friends and the Central Union High School staff and students. Janet is survived by her three children: Brent, Janis, and Siena. Janet was a fighter. A loving mom. Loved her job as a CUHS Spartan ASB staff member. Her positive energy and funny jokes brightened the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She touched many lives. Cheerful, positive, and considerate - she remained this way to the very end. She will not be forgotten. Janet leaves a gaping hole in our family and in our community. Her warm presence and smile will be sorely missed. We feel the loss deeply and only time with God's help can heal the pain we are dealing with as a family. Janet's sister Mayra Mata and the rest of our family are hoping to alleviate some of the financial stress such as funeral and medical bills. As a single mother, Janet was the head of household with three kids depending on her. The financial impact is devastating. Janet gave so much of her life to everyone around her and we hope that in some way we are able to give something in return. God Bless. With love, The Gonzalez Family
