Rice for Life

With the current pandemic of COVID19, Haiti is now facing even more hardship due to its lack of access to medicine and overcrowdedness in many areas. The few individuals who were able to make a living to feed their family are now quarantined in their homes. In the country of Haiti, most families live so far beneath the poverty line that it is invisible to them. Attempting to survive on less than $2 a day, many families are hungry with their next meal is nowhere in sight. Once again Haiti needs our help. With just $11 (less than the cost of a fast-food meal), a family of four will receive a bag of rice that will help feed them for two weeks and provide them with desperately needed life-sustaining nourishment. Hands on for Haiti is asking you to donate what you can - no donation is too small. Every penny will help feed someone who is hungry. Our goal is to feed at least 300 families. While this may only be a drop in the bucket, with enough drops the bucket will be full one day!
