Help Support Wendy Almarez's Breast Cancer Journey

This January, Wendy went in for an exam after discovering a suspicious lump. She was soon diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2+ breast cancer. The HER2+ is a protein that reproduces cancerous cells at an alarming rate. It is extremely aggressive and she was immediately fitted with a port to begin her chemotherapy. Wendy was happy to end her chemo treatments that left her physically exhausted, but ready to continue this fight. Her next step to recovery is a double masectomy followed by reconstructive surgery. Wendy is a hardworking and dedicated mother to her two beautiful and intelligent children, Madison and Joshua. She has proudly been a part of the HEB family for over 20 years. She has continued working as an Invoice Analyst despite her health and treatments. Wendy is reaching out to you for financial help to offset medical expenses and her recovery process.
