Two Special Sisters, April and Melissa

June 14, 2020 was the 21st birthday of Melissa Renea Witt. It was also the day that she and her 27 year old sister, April Michaela Lopes, suddenly passed away in a car accident near their home in Oklahoma City. Melissa left behind a 9 1/2 month old daughter. April left behind a 7 1/2 month old daughter with health problems, a 3 year old daughter, and a 5 year old son. It is hard to imagine, but these sisters and their family were still mourning the loss of another sister, Iris Smith, who unexpectedly passed away from an aneurysm on April 30. Many people gave lovingly and generously to this family through GoFundMe to help with expenses in Iris’s passing, and they were so grateful. The family now needs your financial support to help with final arrangements for Melissa and April, as well as to provide some transitional support for their children.
