Hi, my name is Kylie West, I’m a 22 year old MTF, African American, transgender woman. I was born, & raised in Milwaukee, WI. I am a 2016 graduate of the Milwaukee High School of the Arts. I began socially transitioning at the age of 16, medically 19. I’ve been on and off hormone replacement therapy, due to the fact that my health insurance gets cut roughly every 3-4 months. I’m an extremely underpaid sex worker. (Escort) I work tirelessly, to provide a better life for myself, 3 sisters (ages 10, 12, 18), as well as my 2yr old nephew. (My heart) This is probably my third GoFundMe I’ve made post HS, to no avail. I’m being inspired by all of the support my fellow, black trans brothers &, sisters are receiving. I can only dream of being able to look in the mirror and have the outside match the inside. As well as having a safe space to call my own.   My daily hormone regimen currently consists of: 2 testosterone blockers, 3 estrodial (estrogen pills) Descovy for PREP, as well as an anti depressant; Bupropion. I don’t know if this will get any traction, however I’m committed to becoming the woman I know I am, and if anyone would like to help further my journey it would literally mean the world to me. More specifically, I’m attempting to raise enough money for sustainable housing, also to ensure that billable health insurance isn’t the determining factor of My sanity, also to be able to have a few gender confirming procedures, laser hair removal, etc. As well as necessities for my tribe, Sustainable/consistent housing.
