When I returned home from my first trip to La Gonave, Haiti , I knew I would be doing something for the children I met . Many families can not afford the $185 it cost to send a child to school for the year. 185$ includes: tuition ,uniform and books. I started fund raising and haven’t stopped since!
Now, with all the problems Haïti has dealt with this past year , all cost of living has inflated greatly. Especially school. Most students are paying $300 per year now, or more. We are still raising money for these students.
We were at 21 students , and now , we are adding 8-12 more students , who have no financial support. We would like to send these children to school as soon as possible, because they have been turned away due to lack of funds. One child missed school for two years, but last month he was able to start again! thanks to all of you of you who donate.
All children deserve the very basic's of an education. And can easily be changed with a donation.
