Hi, my name is Mahlatse Nkuna and I am a 29 year old black transgender woman from Soweto, South Africa. I have been transitioning for 3 years now. I have gone as far as my own resources can take me with my medical transition journey. I am ready for sex reassignment surgery and would appreciate your help.

The South African healthcare system is not equipped to do this kind of surgery. Even if they were, insurance companies explicitly exclude it. That is why I would like to get sex reassignment surgery in Thailand or New York.

The US dollar is R15  in my local currency, the Rand. The coronavirus pandemic has further eroded the value of the Rand while incomes have gone down significantly.

My dream is less and less attainable. Please help an African trans girl’s lifelong dream come true.
