Lung Cancer Relief
Donation protected
It has been 14 months since my lung cancer treatment began and my physical strength has dramatically increased.
Thanks to your moral and financial help I am not homeless but I still am prone to panic attacks and lethargy in part due to the overwhelming financial stress and strain. I am still unable to work even a part time job so far. The initial hospital stay plus the biweekly therapy are paid 90% so far but unfortunately I have had to resort to high interest credit cards for a lot of additional expenses like Food and home maintenance needs. Fortunately I have regained enough strength so I can cook a lot of my own food but I am constantly fighting lethargy and depression. I am totally alone here in Illinois with my entire family living in Maryland and only one friend but he has a huge work schedule so we are lucky to meet for much more than a weekly lunch at the grocery store buffet. If it wasn’t for all the caring people on Facebook and Sunday church services I might have given up and allowed the Lung Cancer to take me away. I must overcome this illness and the financial duress and dedicate the remainder of my life to giving to the community, to be a part of the solution. The Covid has had a terrible effect on the poor in this city especially the young and shootings in parts of this city are happening almost on a daily basis. It is adding to the stress and depression as even if my health was fully restored it is currently too dangerous to venture out and do something to help others in need. I have been blessed in this life and feel an unquenchable desire to help GODs people and we are all GODs people. Once again dear friends thank you all for being there with me in these dire circumstances with your kind words and contributions the money raised to date has saved my life.
GOD Bless You All.
