222 Miles For Homeless VETS in Western New York

Our Intro Video 222 Miles For Homeless VETS in Western New York
"Have you ever walked a mile in my shoes?" This is a question I get asked when working with homeless veterans in Western New York. The truth is I have probably walked thousands of miles in my Army career but never homeless. When I started at the Niagara Gospel Mission (A homeless shelter and recovery program) 15% of all of our clients were veterans. Many of these men came through our Liberty Suite, a veteran-specific shelter but by God's grace have moved to our other programs. Because of this our RECON recovery program is growing and will need more space. I want to thank you for your support and for reading my burden for the homeless veterans I get to serve. I will be rucking 222 miles in honor of my unit (2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment) from Afghanistan. I am asking you to donate $1 per mile to help build more rooms for veterans who want to go through our recovery program. I want to thank you in advance for your support of the homeless veterans in Western New York. Together let's help veterans learn the skills they need to move from surviving to thriving.

P.S. If you want to support the homeless veterans of Western New York consider donating a dollar per mile as I ruck 222 miles From February 22nd to March 31st.
