2016 Carson High School FBLA

Carson High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of 

America) have just returned from a very successful State Business Leadership Conference & Competition where 23 CHS students competed and brought home 31 top ten finishes.  9 students qualified for the National competition in Atlanta, Georgia to be held in June.  Of those 9 students, six are able to attend this competition.  The cost to attend this trip is expensive  at $5,600.   We received news today that the The Hop and Mae Adams Foundation in Carson City, NV is going to donate $2,800 with a challenge to the Carson City Community, that they match this amount so that these students can attend.  The students that are attending are Shaylin Segura, Sophie Waite, Logan Mead, Eveline Delgado, Ricky Garcia and Jiavanna Wong-Furtunato.  This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these successful, hard-working students.  Any amount donated is greatly appreciated and is also tax deductable.  Thank you for support!
