Reach High Early Learning Center

As a working mother, the hardest thing to do is leave your child with a sitter, a daycare, or any other form of childcare other than yourself. But when you find the perfect daycare, the perfect teachers and the perfect daycare families; you are considered lucky.  Not just lucky, but truly blessed.  

Eight years ago, I found that perfect daycare.  It was hard leaving my precious baby girl. But throughout the first week, the director - Sherri Rushing - answered every phone call with her pleasant voice and warming heart.  She would stop what she was doing and actually go to the room and check how my angel was doing.  I did not find just a daycare - I found a family. 

This family of 80+ kids, teachers, and directors are abruptly being removed from the First Baptist Church in Whitehouse.  The church gave everyone a 2 month deadline. No one did anything wrong, no violations were made.  The church just decided this facility could be used for worship instead of a daycare.  Now, this perfect family is getting uprooted after 30 years of service in Whitehouse.

All is not lost though - Melinda Love and Sherri Rushing are opening a new daycare just down the road. However, there are some obstacles along the way. The facility needs a few items to comply with state regulations. Please help us raise the money so that our Whitehouse family daycare can continue to strive.  Reach High Daycare needs your dollars to open doors.  Those 80+ kids need a safe, loving environment to spend 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. These teachers need to feed their own families by continuing to work. My three babies, Lainey, Stormi and Brody need Melinda and Sherri to open the doors on May 30th, 2016.  Many of us do not have anywhere else to go, nor would we even dream of wanting to go someplace else.
