Hancock Band to Hall of Fame Parade
Donation protected
Every home football game at Hancock High School in Kiln, Mississippi, the Pride of Hancock marches into the staduim, past a statue honoring the NFL great and Hancock alumnus Brett Favre. They entertain crowds from Brett Favre field and cheer on the Hancock Hawks.
It is a great honor that they have now been invited to represent their school and community by performing at
the 2016 Pro Football Hall of Fame Festival Parade in Canton, Ohio as a celebration of Brett Favre's induction.
The band boosters are currently trying to raise approximately $50,000 to pay for the three day trip in August. This will pay for charter buses, food and housing for 120 members of the band. We are counting on community support to help these talented students make the trip of a lifetime to perform in front of 200,000 spectators and celebrate Kiln, Mississippi's legendary quarterback.
