Newport High's ROV Team to NASA!

We are the 6 members of Newport High's after-school robotics club.  Our team name is the Finnovators, and this is our first year of participating in the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) underwater robotics competition.    We were thrilled to be awarded 1st place at the Ranger level and eligible to compete at the International MATE event at NASA, in Houston, TX. 

We are very proud of our hard work and hope you will help support our travel fund, so we can take all of our  team and represent Oregon at this great event.   

Since the competition is in June, we are hoping to raise $5,000 by June 15th.  All contributions are tax deductible, and donors will receive email confirmation.
