Scott Jacobson dedicated family man

Donation protected
On May 2nd Scott Jacobson was hit by a car on 35th St and dragged hundreds of feet. If it wasn't for the witnesses and the firemen running to his rescue to stop the vehicle Scott might not have made it. Scott's pelvis is broken in 3 places, one being his upper tibia which is the ball that fits in his hip socket. He had for an external fixation. This is when the bones are held in place using a external frame. This is done by threading pins into the bones of the fracture. The pins are connected to rods outside the skin to the frame. He has these big metal rods sticking out of his pelvis. He also has severe road rash that may require surgery. Some spots are so severe you can see muscle and bone. Scott has been married to Rachel for 20yrs and they have 3 beautiful children. Anna, Owen and William. The boys attend Mark Sheridan and are wrestlers. Their wrestling team practices at DeLaSalle. On practice days Scott and his two sons ride their bikes to practice. On May 2 when tragedy hit this family, Scott was on his way home from DeLaSalle from dropping his son's off at practice. Scott is a great husband, father and friend. Scott is the type of man to help anyone in need. He and his family desperately need our help. He has 6 months of recovery ahead of him. Unable to work for that long, we as a very strong community needs to help his family ease at least the financial burden for this beautiful family. I can't even imagine the pain and suffering that this family is experiencing. I want to thank everyone in advance and remember to please share this page.
