Funeral expenses for Jacob Formby

To all of Karen & Lamar’s family & friends & to all who loved Jacob... As most of you are aware that Karen & Lamar Formby lost their first born son at 29 yrs old early Wednesday morning from a drug overdose. His battle with drug abuse started in his early teens. Jacob has had many of you praying for him through the years but for whatever reason, he couldn’t break the chain of his substance abuse. Everyone that knows Karen, knows that she’s always had to be a strong person. She’s had a lot of loss in her life. She’s worked hard, raised her children, went to nursing school & finally became a RN. Karen is everyone’s friend & she gets to know people on a personal level. I’ve seen her sit at her work station, hold hands with her clients & pray for them if they had a situation that needed God’s attention. It didn’t matter if it were big or little. She truly cares about people. She & Lamar, Josh & Job are now in need of your prayer as they come to grips with the death of their beloved son & big brother. Jacob moved to Denver, Colorado last year. The cost of getting him home & having a proper burial is going to be quite costly, running roughly around $10,000. If you feel in your heart that you could give, any amount would be appreciated. If you can’t help financially, just please pray for their hearts to heal quickly.
