Help Jordan Hadden with Hip Surgery & Rehab Costs
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
We are seeking donations from anyone who can help!
On Friday, July 17, 2020, Jordan Hadden was involved in a moped accident on the corner of 14th & L ST NW. She has suffered extensive injuries, one of which is a severely broken hip. She will need to undergo emergency surgery, set up aftercare services, and utilize rehabilitation to ensure she will be able to walk again.
Due to COVID-19 closures she is currently unemployed, and though she has filed for DC unemployment, she has yet to receive any assistance or benefits.
Jordan is a class of 2014 Howard University Alumnae who majored in History and minored in African American studies. Her goal has always been to educate and give back to youth, especially in black communities. She was most recently working for the Kevin Durant Non-Profit College Track which helps high school teens prepare for college.
Doctors are estimating costs to potentially exceed $60,000 for both the surgery and rehab due to the extent of her injuries. Any donation, large or small, will help to get her back on her feet after such an unfortunate event during such unprecedented times.
