Dale Farwell's Bypass Heart Surgery

First off, I cant tell you how much we appreciate all of your prayers, love and support through this tough time.
Dad hasn't been feeling 100% for a few years now. He has been experiencing tightness in his chest, and shortness of breath. Dad just figured that he was just out of shape, and the thought of exercising was exercize enough for him, he can be quite stubborn at times :-). His love for Dr. Pepper probably didnt help either.
After losing some amazing friends to heart complications, Dad thought it was best to get his heart looked at. April 7th he was told that he was a ticking timebomb, and suggested that he probably had a minor heart attack that he didnt even know about. After running some tests they determined that his arteries were in bad shape and that some stints were necessary. Today's test revealed that stints will not do him any good. One arterie in his heart is 100% useless, completely clogged, the other two arteries are 90% blocked as well. Doctors say a quadruple bypass open heart surgery is required. Due to the seriousness of this, he needs to stay in the hospital until his scheduled surgery which will be on Monday, May 9th. Doctors are extremely positive, they say his heart is very strong and that he has a 98% chance of a full recovery. God is so Good!
Mom and Dad have an insurance plan through Samaritan Ministries. However, this is looked upon to the hospitals as a self-paying patient, and you know hospitals - - This surgery could run anywhere from $50,000 to upwards of $100,000 or even more based on the extent of the procedure and including his extended stay. These numbers are scary, but we know that God has a plan.
Thank you all!
