Help Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

You never want to wake up to your entire house engulfed in flames. Unfortunately that was our fate this morning. The smoke was so intense we couldn’t see or breathe. My Mother was stuck upstairs and my boyfriend Jessie acted swiftly and jumped up on the roof, and was able to get to the master bedroom window and yelled for my Mom. Then was able to find her hand and grab her out the window. If he wasn’t here this morning I don’t think she would have been able to get out of the house. The fire started on the first floor and completely ruined the structural integrity, and by what the firemen told me, we are going to have to start from scratch. We have our lives, which is what’s most important. But to lose your mementos and belongings in the matter of minutes is very startling, and an experience I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. My parents are 78 and 81, a tough time to start over. But we will prevail. If out of the goodness of your heart, you wanted to help our family in this time of need. We would be eternally grateful for your kindness. What a way to spend Christmas, but at least we have each other.
